Senior Project Manager / Delivery Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager cum Delivery Manager who can lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical understanding, project management expertise, and stakeholder management, with proven experience delivering projects across global clients.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Plan, schedule, and execute technical projects (medium to large scale).
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
• Track progress using project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Trello, etc.).
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies.

2. Technical Oversight

• Understand software or system architecture and technical requirements.
• Review technical designs, deliverables, and quality standards.
• Provide input on technical feasibility and resource requirements.

3. Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with developers, QA, operations, and business teams.
• Conduct stand-ups, status meetings, and sprint reviews (in Agile setups).
• Communicate project updates, roadblocks, and outcomes to stakeholders and clients.

4. Quality & Process Management

• Ensure deliverables meet technical specifications and organizational standards.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to optimize project delivery.
• Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned.

5. Resource & Budget Management

• Allocate and monitor resources effectively.
• Track project budgets, expenditures, and timelines.
• Ensure optimal utilization of team capacity and tools.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain project plans, technical documentation, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and organizational requirements.

7. Typical Skills Required

• Project Management: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban.
• Technical Knowledge: Software development, cloud, infrastructure, data integration, or a domain relevant to the project.
• Tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Trello, Git, CI/CD pipelines (depending on tech).
• Soft Skills: Communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, risk management.

Desirable Education

• B.Tech + MBA / M.Tech / B.Tech (CSE), any computer background + Management background.
